The Squirrels surrendered three two-goal leads, and lost their third game in a row in a 7-6 shootout loss to the Hockey Donkeys on Tuesday.
After the Squirrels jumped out to a 2-0 lead, they gave up the next three. In the second period, they scored twice, including one in the last few seconds of the period to go up 4-3.
Mike Bartock opened up the third period with a coast-to-coast goal to give the Squirrels a two-goal cushion, and after giving up another, Geoff Grek did the same. But the Squirrels gave up two in the last few minutes, then fell in the shootout.
