The Squirrels got a much-needed win Wednesday, but it was much harder than it should’ve been as the tilted ice was just enough for a 2-1 win against the Eagles.

Even though the Thundercats and the Squirrels have similar records, the Thundercats have had the Squirrels’ number all season, and nothing changed Sunday in their 7-3 win.

The Squirrels got plenty of shots, but had a hard time scoring Wednesday as they fell to 2intheBox, 4-1.
Squirrels 5, Bullets 2
When the Bullets started the game with only one sub on the bench, the Squirrels knew that they had a good chance to knock off the first-place team. But by the time late-arriving Bullets lengthened their bench to four subs, which didn’t matter as the Squirrels scored five in a row for a 5-2 win.
Squirrels 7, Laughing Skulls 5
The Squirrels and Laughing Skulls put up some offense Saturday, with the Squirrels coming out on top, 7-5.
