Squirrels 6, Thundercats 5
The Squirrels got their second victory of the season Monday with a 6-5 win against the Thundercats. Tony Richelsen and Mario Constantinou scored in the first period. The Thundercats got the next two goals before Geoff Grek scored twice in the second to give them the lead back. The Thundercats tied the game early in the third be scoring twice, including a short-handed goal. Then Vivek Pinto and Tero Moberg each scored down the stretch. Eagles 11, Squirrels 2
The Squirrels got walloped again, this time 11-2 to the Eagles, who had just been moved up from the lower division.
The only highlight of the game was Jason Wolf and Geoff Grek scoring about three minutes apart early in the second period, which cut the lead to 6-2 at the time.
Bullets 7, Squirrels 2
The Squirrels couldn’t get much going Saturday, falling 7-2 to the Bullets.Continue reading
