Just like much of the rest of the season, the Squirrels outshot their opponent, but still lost, this time 5-2 to the Bullets in the final game of the regular season.
After a scoreless first period, the Bullets used a couple of breakaways to get on the board, while Nate Groves and Mario Constantinou answered for the Squirrels. But the third-period comeback never came, as the Bullets scored twice more.
The Squirrels finished the season in fifth place. Nate Groves led the team in points with 13, while Luke Chung led the team with 9 goals.
