Screaming Squirrels Win Winter League Championship!
In the longest season in their history, the Screaming Squirrels won the Bronze 2b championship Wednesday, skating to a 6-2 victory against the third-seeded 2intheBox.
Playoffs: Squirrels 5, Mastodons 4
The Squirrels had a bye in the first round of the playoffs but had their work cut out for them against the Mastodons on Thursday, winning 5-4 but not without a struggle.

Fortunately for the Squirrels, the game didn’t mean anything in the standings Monday, but the 7-3 loss to 2intheBox was frustrating nonetheless as they struggled to score, then gave up four goals – two shorthanded – in the third period.Continue reading
