The Brewins simply wouldn’t give up Wednesday, as the Squirrels kept taking leads, at one point up 4-1, before the escaping with a 6-5 win.
Ben Avera scored a hat trick, including an empty-netter which put the Squirrels up 6-4 in the last 30 seconds. Tero Moberg scored twice, and Ben Sumner scored his first of the season for the Squirrels. Vivek Pinto had four assists.
