Down 3-0 almost half-way through the game, Luke Chung finally got a shot past 2intheBox goalie Matt Vivlamore. 2intheBox added another late in the second for a 4-1 lead. In the third, Jon Der and Daniel Gargano each scored for the Squirrels, who pulled goalie Craig Beatty, but came up short of tying the game. Beatty had an assist.
