The Squirrels ended their season with a thud on Thursday, falling in the first round of the playoffs in a 5-2 loss to Wolfe Pack.
The Squirrels did, however, get off to a good start, as Mario Constantinou gave the Squirrels an early 1-0 lead before Wolfe Pack tied it later in the period. Wolfe Pack added two more in the second, but the Squirrels gave themselves a chance as Scott Kronzek cut the Wolfe Pack lead to 3-2 early in the third.
With about five minutes to go, Wolfe Pack scored two quick goals to put the game out of reach.
