A few curl-n-drags and a couple of lucky bounces gave the Hockey Donkeys an edge on Friday as they beat the Squirrels, 5-3.
Down 3-0, the Squirrels battled back with a breakaway goal and two falling-down goals, but couldn’t get the tying goal down the stretch. Geoff Grek, Mario Constantinou and Brent Machado each scored for the Squirrels.
