The Squirrels played back-to-back games on Wednesday, beating Team Mylec 11-2 and That’s What She Said 9-5.

In the first game, both Jeff Ford and Mike Linker scored four times each, with the other goals by Don Marks, Greg Hainer and Ben Sumner. Linker had three more int he second game while Ford had two, with the other goals by Mark Tessar, Rob Myers, Stu Miller and Sumner.

The Squirrels have one game left in the season, against the first place Dinosaurs.

Brent Machado scored three goals, and Don Marks added another to help the Squirrels to a 4-2 victory against a shorthanded Brewins team on Saturday. Despite the short bench, the Brewins still managed to put enormous pressure on the Squirrels even late into the third period, and were just a couple of inches away from tying the game. The Brewins had previously beaten the Squirrels twice this season.

In their third meeting of the season, the Squirrels finally pulled out a dominant win against Stealthy Choice on Tuesday, using a 5-goal second period to pull away for a 7-1 win. Jon Danziger scored three times to lead the Squirrels, with the other goals coming from Rob Myers, Doug Winders, Mark Tessar, and Ben Sumner.

The Squirrels had previously beaten Stealthy Choice twice on the season, both times 4-3 in the shoot out.
