Leading the game 1-0 for nearly 15 minutes Sunday was the highlight for the Squirrels, who were outplayed by the Outsiders and lost, 8-1.

Bob Valdes scored for the Squirrels in front of the net at 5:22, but the Outsiders dominated much of the game and didn’t give the Squirrels much space. Two Outsiders players had hat tricks.
