Despite getting off to a slow start, as in trying to figure out what their lines were, the Screaming Squirrels jumped out to a 3-0 lead late in the first period, then scored three more in the first 49 seconds of the second, en route to an 11-1 victory against the Laughing Skulls. The only hiccup came with a 7-0 lead, when they gave up a goal (and thus, a running clock, much to the ref’s dismay), but it didn’t matter as the 10-goal lead ended the game.
