The Squirrels couldn’t score for more than 2 and a half periods Wednesday, squandering two power plays and spotting Blades of Steel a 2-goal lead, one of which came in the final second of the second period, but then they scored three unanswered for a 3-2 win.

Scott Kronzek, Vivek Pinto and Don Marks each tallied in about a four-minute span, and the Squirrels killed off a furious Blades comeback bid.
