A short bench finally caught up with the Squirrels on Sunday as they were eliminated from the semifinals against a very beatable Hockey Donkeys squad, 6-3.
Though the Squirrels struggled to score, the game was relatively tight through the first two periods as the Hockey Donkeys tallied in each period. Arie Stock scored on a rebound early in the third to cut the lead to 2-1, but it was all Donkeys after that, as they scored four straight to put the game out of reach. Stock and Vivek Pinto scored in the final minute.
