Squirrels 5, Laughing Skulls 3

The Screaming Squirrels started fast but barely hung on Sunday as the Laughing Skulls tested them with a second-period onslaught, but a very defensive third period salvaged the victory. The Squirrels killed a two-man advantage, not to mention losing defeseman Dan Carter for much of the third period. Desi Richelsen sealed with win with an empty-net goal. Chris Wautel scored twice for the Squirrels.

Screaming Squirrels Relaunching Site

After a couple of years, the Screaming Squirrels hockey team of Maryland is relaunching its website. Because our old domain expired and someone grabbed it and attempted to hold it hostage from us, we moved to this domain, which is screamingsquirrelshockey.com. Thanks to former Squirrels captain Phil van der Vossen for helping to set up the site. I’m your editor and team administrator, Ben Sumner, looking forward to providing content for this team which formed in 2001.
