The Squirrels put up their highest offensive output of the season Tuesday, pulling away in the second period for a 9-5 victory against the Whale. Up 5-2, the Whale cut the lead to 5-4 early in the second period, and again came within one, until the Squirrels scored three straight to close the game. Charles Warner and Ben Sumner each had hat-tricks and an assist. Chi Pham scored twice and Sean Pollack also scored.
