The Squirrels broke a three-game losing streak Sunday with a 6-1 win against the Laughing Skulls.

Prior to the game on Sunday, it snowed, and the Squirrels only had seven skaters and a sub goalie lined up to play as several games were getting forfeited. Then a separate game in Rockville got forfeited, freeing up a few more Squirrels to play, and suddenly the Squirrels had 10 skaters and a competitive game ahead of them.
Despite being more than doubled up on shots and time of possession, the Squirrels escaped with a 4-2 win against the Laughing Skulls, led by a hat trick from 18-year-old rookie AJ Marks, son of longtime Squirrels defenseman Don Marks.

The Squirrels got plenty of shots but couldn’t find the net in a 4-0 loss to the Laughing Skulls on Monday.
18-year-old AJ Marks, son of longtime Squirrels defenseman Don M made his debut for the Squirrels, as did Matt Wolf.

The Squirrels played an all-around complete game on Monday, getting both early and late pressure for a 4-2 win against the Laughing Skulls.

The Squirrels lost a heartbreaker on Tuesday, and were left frustrated after a 5-4 six-round shootout loss to the Laughing Skulls.
