The Squirrels took on the undefeated Thundercats on Saturday, and gave them their first loss of the season in a 5-4 win.
Tero Moberg got the scoring started in the first period, as he roofed a shot into the top corner to give the Squirrels a 1-0 lead.
Pat Reilly scored for the Thundercats early in the second, and the teams were tied throughout much of the period. Vivek Pinto scored after a scramble to give the Squirrels the lead again, but the Thundercats tied it up at 2-2 shortly after.
