The Squirrels got another victory despite a very short bench Sunday, as they put up five goals against Booz Allen Hamilton despite allowing a goal only 19 seconds into the game and a shorthanded goal. Russ Francis played in net for the Squirrels.

Squirrels Win Two Games at Once

With several players on vacation, both benches were already short Tuesday when both the ice and roller teams had games at the same time. The ice team won, 4-1 against Pucks Deep behind a hattrick from Tony Richelsen, while the Real C Team took the Squirrels to a shootout, which the Squirrels won in five rounds. Don Marks played the first period of the ice game before switching over to roller, while Mark Tessar played the ice game before arriving in roller in time for a shootout attempt.

Though the Squirrels held a commanding 4-1 lead midway through the first half, Team Mylec made things interesting early in the second half when they cut the score to 5-4, before the Squirrels scored five straight goals en route to a 10-4 victory.
