Ice: Brewins 6, Squirrels 5
The Squirrels lost a game they knew they could win Friday, clawing back in the third period before tired legs got the better of them in a 6-5 loss to the Brewins. While the Squirrels only had 8 skaters, the Brewins had 7, so both teams looked sluggish and the play looked laughable at times, as the Squirrels fell to 0-2 on the season.Continue reading

Perhaps avenging, sort of, an embarrassing loss in the playoffs a couple of weeks ago, the Mastodons put up 5 on the Squirrels and a backup goalie, while their new goaltender kept a flurry of shots out of the net, as the Squirrels dropped their opening game of the season, 5-0.Continue reading
