The Squirrels had a comfortable 3-1 lead Sunday, but a couple of turnovers and a few too many penalties didn’t help down the stretch as the Cruisers came back to win, 4-3.

The first game of the season was tied at one through two periods Monday, but the Squirrels ran away with it in the third with four unanswered goals. On top of that, the only goal they gave up was an own-goal. So not a bad start to the season for the Squirrels.
